The Stowe Global Coal IndexSM is the a composite index and mainly includes companies engaged in the mining of coal. The index also includes a number of companies engaged in key coal technologies related to liquid coal and clean coal.
The Stowe Coal IndexSM includes only those companies that are principally engaged in the global coal industry. To be included in the index, a company must generate at least 50% of its revenues from coal mining and coal related activities.
